Anapa vineyardsThe Anapa region has a temperate climate influenced by the nearby sea. Its agro-climatic properties place it in winegrowing category 1, which long-term experience indicates is suitable for the very successful cultivation of varieties that are typical for this region, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Riesling. The land where we plant our vineyards faces south or southeast. The land has a beautiful view of the foothills of the Caucasus. The Caucasus is also the cradle from which vine cultivation first spread. Total precipitation is distributed unevenly and takes place mainly in winter and spring; the summer and autumn are relatively dry. Long dry autumns are typical for this region. The number of sunny days has a positive effect on grape ripening, especially red-wine must varieties. |
