ELESKO a.s. is a company dedicated to winegrowing and winemaking. In Slovakia it operates in the Malokarpatská region, where it produces its own brand of wine and has built a modern winery in Modra.

ELESKO is special in that it combines tradition with new technologies, uses principles of integrated production and works actively with the natural healing forces of biodynamic farming. What makes it unique is the holistic way in which it implements its projects, including its designs and architecture for winegrowing and winemaking.

At present ELESKO has winegrowing and winemaking projects in the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation. The company currently owns 110 hectares of new vineyards in the communes of Modra, Dubová and Vištuk in the Malokarpatská region, which are amongst the most beautiful in Slovakia. The vineyards are registered for integrated protection, which means that the vines are protected by minimising the use of chemicals and making more intensive use of natural materials. The company also draws on the theory of biodynamics, which suggests that vines can be protected through the energy of the earth and the gravitational influences of the moon, sun and stars.

ELESKO supports modern developments in winegrowing and winemaking. On the one hand it uses the most progressive techniques of grape cultivation and the most modern techniques for managing vineyards; on the other hand it seeks to achieve harmony with the soil, vegetation and animals taking into consideration ecology and the environment.  In winemaking it uses traditional procedures in combination with the latest technology.
